How SI image generator pricing works
Credits are the only currency on SiImageGen. Before you press Generate, the composer shows the exact number of credits the request will use, based on the model, the quality setting and how many images you ask for. Credits are reserved when the request starts and kept only if the images arrive. If anything fails, the reserved credits return to your balance within seconds.
This pay-per-image approach is different from most image generator pricing, which sells a monthly allowance that resets whether you used it or not. Here a quiet month costs nothing, and a busy campaign is covered by a bigger pack with more bonus credits. One balance works for every model, so you can draft on a cheap model and finish on a premium one without a second plan.

Credit cost of every image model
The table lists one image at each quality setting a model offers, for text to image and for editing an image you upload. Asking for four images at once costs about four times the single price — the total is rounded once, so it can come out a credit lower — and there is no extra fee for batches.
| Model | Quality | Create | Edit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flux 3 | 1K | 18 | 18 |
| Nano Banana 2 | 1K | 29 | 29 |
| 2K | 44 | 44 | |
| Nano Banana Pro | 1K | 54 | 54 |
| 2K | 54 | 54 | |
| Seedream 5 Flash | 2K | 10 | 10 |
| Seedream 5 Pro | 1.5K | 25 | 25 |
| GPT Image 2.5 | Low | 8 | 11 |
| Medium | 26 | 33 | |
| High | 90 | 101 | |
| Ideogram 4.5 | Low | 11 | — |
| Medium | 22 | — | |
| High | 80 | — | |
| Qwen Image 3 | 1K | 15 | 15 |
| Grok Imagine Image 2 | Low | 15 | 15 |
| Medium | 22 | 22 | |
| Recraft 4.1 Flash | 1K | 3 | — |
Prices follow what each provider charges us, which is why a Recraft 4.1 Flash illustration costs 3 credits and a Flux 3 photo costs 18. When a provider runs a launch discount we keep our price unchanged, so the number you see today is the number you will see next month.
What each pack buys in real images
Credits are easier to judge as pictures. Using the prices in the table above:
- Starter (1,100 credits): about 110 Seedream 5 Flash drafts, or61 Flux 3 photos, or 37 Nano Banana 2 edits of your own photos.
- Creator (3,600 credits): a month of daily posts — thirty Flux 3 images use 540 credits, which leaves room for 306 quick Seedream drafts.
- Studio (10,400 credits): a full product catalog — two hundred Nano Banana 2 background swaps (5,800 credits) plus 460 extra drafts.
Which pack should I buy?
Starter is the right size for trying every model and finding the ones that suit your style. Creator adds20% bonus credits and fits anyone publishing images every week. Studio adds 30% and suits shops, agencies and anyone generating many variations to pick the best. Whatever you choose, SI image generator pricing per image stays the same; bigger packs only add bonus credits, and every pack adds to one balance.
SI image generator pricing compared with subscriptions
Most image apps sell a monthly plan with a fixed number of generations, and unused images vanish when the month ends. That works if you create the same amount every week. If your work comes in bursts — a product launch, a holiday campaign, a weekend of experiments — you end up paying for months you barely used. With credit packs you pay for the images you make and keep the rest for later. There is no cancellation to remember and no renewal email, because there is nothing to renew. Teams can share one account for a project and simply top it up when it runs low.
How to spend fewer credits
- Draft on Seedream 5 Flash or Recraft 4.1 Flash, then remake only the winner on Flux 3 or Nano Banana Pro.
- Use “Edit this image” instead of starting over: one targeted edit is cheaper than many fresh tries.
- Ask for four images in one request when exploring; it is easier to compare them side by side.
- Pick the quality you need. Low and medium settings on GPT Image 2.5 and Ideogram 4.5 cost a fraction of high.
- Check in at the gift center each day for free credits, and invite friends for more.
Free credits and the gift center
Every new account created with Google gets 50 credits to try the SI image generator before paying. The gift center adds a few more: a welcome gift, a daily check-in with a streak bonus, a gift for your first image, and credits for each friend who signs up through your invite link. Free credits have no cash value but work exactly like paid ones.
Pricing questions
Is there a subscription?
No. You buy a credit pack once and spend it whenever you like. Nothing renews, and you are never charged again unless you buy another pack.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them, whether that is tomorrow or next year, and they work with every model.
What does a failed image cost?
Nothing. When a model errors out, times out or its safety filter blocks a result, the generation is marked as failed and its credits go back to your balance automatically.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Bigger packs include bonus credits (+10%, +20% and +30%). New members get +30% extra on a first pack bought within 48 hours of signing up, and the gift center hands out free credits for a daily check-in, your first image and inviting friends.
Which payment methods can I use?
Checkout runs on Stripe: major credit and debit cards and, depending on your country, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local methods. We never see your card details.
Can I get a refund?
Credit purchases are final because the credits are usable immediately, but failed generations are always refunded in credits, and payment problems such as a double charge are fixed on request. The details are in our Refund Policy.
